I am wondering about a couple signs I have a chance to buy. One is a Willy's Knight automotive parts sign...I have never heard of it. It is porcelin, has several holes and a little rust. It is about 3' wide. The other is a Quaker Oil sign that has a bunch of holes and rust. The old boy wants $300 for both. Is this a good buy? I have never heard of Willy's Knights and am wondering what the company is all about. He says it is OLD and just took it out of his fathers garage and its been there for years. I have never bought porcelin signs and am wondering. They look really good. Thanks, Leroy.

MY ADVICE WOULD BE TO SINK THE BUCKS INTO THE WILLYS KNIGHT SIGN IF YOU THINK IT'S STILL A DECENT LOOKER. WILLYS KNIGHT I'M THINKING WAS ONLY USED INTO THE 1920'S OR 30'S, THEN THE NAME WILLY'S FROM THERE ON. RON BETTIN COULD PROBABLY STRAIGHTEN YOU OUT ON THAT. BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD ENOUGH DEAL FOR THE $$$$ JM2C!
