What air meter manufacturer would have had the initials ASI? A friend of mine has a really rare air meter and those letters are raised up on its square base. We asked Jack Sim at a Columbus show last year and he didn't even know who made it. No tags, just the letters. Thanks.

Asi= air speed indicator ? I don't think it's the brand of air meter I think it was a stamp to tell what the unit was for. Just a guess. A picture would help?

I would like to see a picture also.

If this the one that I think it is, it may be a air meter, but not one that was used to inflate tires. If this is from the Steve Gold collection I remember it.

I sent you pictures Jack, not the Steve Gold collection. This air meter was used at a Phillips 66 station in Gilliam, Missouri. The man who owns it now actually used it when he was a kid. Thanks for the help folks...

Just a pure guess, but what about something along the lines of Air Services Inc. or Air Suppliers Industries? :)). Look forward to pics and more details Jack.

Hmmm. I certainly am stumped. Goober, is it an actual meter? It looks more like an air light/pole.

Thought I'd bump this up. I honestly dont know a thing about this piece, and it very well may be original, but the base and pole kinda reminds me of a walk/dont walk base.

Probably a name more like "Allied Steel Inc" who made the base in my opinion - ive seen that before
