Taking a break from the road on the way home.

John and Tricia Mancinio hosted another great show this year. For myself I really enjoy this show. The people are great and lots of neat things to find. Well here are a few pictures.

Here is John and Tes making the rounds to make sure all the vendors have been well fed and hydrated so no rioting will ensue at the evening dice game.

Thanks for posting the pictures Henry, who has what is why a lot of people don't bother posting pics of shows anymore.

Thanks, Phil

I've never seen anyone complain about people asking "who has what". What is a guy supposed to do when he see's the exact piece he's been looking for. Just let it go on down the road? The stuff doesn't just come knocking on the door and people certainly can't go to every show. And if it helps make a sale, then it is good for vendors as well.
In my case here, in that pic is the exact, seldomly seen shade that I need. Am I suppose to just ignore it? No. I don't see any issue with people asking "who has what". If someone can help them, then great. If not, then just click the back arrow and move on.
My 2 cents.

I have no issue about collectors asking who had something. I answer if I can. I generally know the people at the Gas and oil shows, but I am bad with names. Sometimes I will let others answer as a result. Thanks Rock

Dealers are there to sell so if a picture from the show can help an item get sold all the better for all.

At a lot of the flea markets and antique shows I don't know the dealers. Sometimes I will get a name and number from a person if they have something I think a friend would be interested in. Some dealers don't want that info put out others are happy for any help.

In this cameras everywhere world we live in today,I'm seeing more & more & more swapmeet vendors put a cardboard placard on their tables with their largely written name & phone # on it,for when anonymous passerbys take a photo of their items.

I would imagine this type of topic showcasing items is why.

It is a good idea. {placard}

I know both Mike and Eric but there names did not pop in my head when the questions were asked. With Eric what popped in my head was the guy from Maine. With Mike it was the thought of the wet miserable nights sleep in the back of his pickup. It rained really hard Friday night. The things we do for this hobby.
