I'm wondering if anyone is familiar with this sign. I've had it for quite a while and I'm thinking of letting it go, but I dont know enough about it. Im pretty sure I got it at an auction but really dont even remember the one I got it at.. I originally thought it may be a repro, but I've never seen another and I have a feeling/hoping it may have been a building sign or something like that. Ive had the double sided porcelain ones in the past but this one is different. It is on a somewhat thin sheet aluminum. It seems to be painted with an additional clearish type of coating over that. (which is peeling around the edges a bit. The back has some brown textured stuff on it. When were the last years known original signs of this type been used? Any shared knowledge would be much appreciated.
