Hi I am new to this site and have just finished a restoration of the Boyle Dayton pump I picked up last year. The globe is not original to the pump. When it was new and it did not have one, but I think it looks better with one. I found an original Shell tag under the first coat of paint. That is why I went with the Shell. This also was an air operated pump.
