Could someone please post a pic of an original regulator handle for a Fry 17? I'm forced to buy a repo handle but I see there are a couple different styles out there and I want to match the original. Thanks.

Here is one that I took off of a Fry 17 about 25 years ago. It is a four piece handle that you do not have to take the pipe out to put the handle on. Hope that it helps. Dave

Here are photos of my Fry 17 selector handle. Dave's handle and my handle are different; I assume from different models of the Fry 17. The gallon selectors are different as well. I know that there a long doors with the cut out for the on the left side, lower corner and cutouts near the bottom of the door; like mine. I am now curious if my handle at one time broke off and someone welded it back or if this is an original design that became much improved on Dave's handle. Joe

Yours looks like others that I have seen. I would say that it is just another version...still correct. I have only had one of these that you could remove without removing the pipe. PS...I took it off of a 17,but it is now on a 117. Dave

I cannot get to the back of the pump to remove the door, but you should be able to put this together(in your mind). My regulator handle is comprised of 4 separate cast iron pieces: 1. Handle body threaded(1) 2. The two piece clamp which is also threaded...internal for the pump handle.(2) 3. Cast iron ring which holds the two piece clamp together. This ring fits over the internally threaded end.(1) There is also a stop nut which is threaded onto the handle, a set screw which is threaded into a hole on one of clamp pieces and keeps the clamp from moving on the regulator brass pipe(it appears silver/gray in the photo), and a bolt with nut and washer on the rear of the clamp. I hope that I have helped you. Good luck, Dave
