This is my first post. I found this while pulling some cars out of the woods. Thought some of you might find this interesting.

Has anybody seen this before? Is common to reuse printed sheet metal?

I bought a brand new chinese lathe and it came with an oil can with a pump handle. When I opened it to fill it, inside I could see clearly the printing from what appeared to be a soup can

In the 70's, early 80's there was a Vancouver Canada record label named Friends. They used record sleeves already printed for other artists. When you slid the vinyl out you could clearly see another artist printed on the inside.

many can companies would repurpose unused can stock into new cans, to save money. In this case, they had left over 60s Esso cans, and used it for the Columbia, also 60s era.

Good oil cans don't wait for people, people wait for them.

I wonder how many people actually look down inside a good can?
