I dislike seeing ads on the site from members that only ever run wanted ads and nothing else. So many of us desire the same quality items just seeing someone bump a wanted ad to the top over and over I find boring. So, to try and make my want ads more interesting I will be running regular pictures of things I have for trade hopefully making my want ads worth reading. I am interested in trading for quality Canadian Signs, Tins and Globes. My primary interest is Central and Western Canadian companies such as North Star, Prairie Cities/Buffalo, White Rose, Purity 99, Red Head, Home, Royalite etc but I like all Canadian stuff. The older the better.

This weeks trade offering is an original Goodrich Mountie SSP Sign. It is not in great shape with chips scratching and fading, but it is an honest original with no retouching. They are hard to come by in any condition. If you want more details PM me. Thanks.

A recent acquisition from a collection of a deceased west coast collector. It has the remnants of the Vilas makers name beside one of the chips. I am not keeping it as I have a better one.

That is a real neat sign. Wish I had some of the stuff you're looking for.

interesting & rare sign I have never seen before. You wonder if at that time were the R.C.M.P. vehicles running Goodrich Tires?

Nope, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said to Goodrich " Stop using our Mountie Image or were going to sue you " That's why they are very rare and expensive!!!
