I need some help with my ratty old Dino. I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do with it. I don't know if I should put it up rusty and crusty or refinish it. If I decide to refinish it that brings up the question of green or white. I have seen signs like mine with all white, all green and mismatched base and pole. My sign has the short octagon pole with a slip fit ring. Can anyone explain why the colors differed. I was planning on redoing the pole and ring in gloss white. Should it be green or does it even matter?

I searched for info on green vs. white but my search didn't yield anything other than how big of a hole I need to plant my pole signs in.

This is a 1937 Sinclair arm pole that poleman is restoring. Photos dont do it justice. The colors really stand out against each other. Just an option. You cant go wrong either way.

That looks great John. I think I'd use the green too.
