Hello Old gas members. Sad news I had a secret stash of gas pumps located in a small town in North Central Kansas in a secure garage.Every year I drive to Iowa Gas picking up pumps along the way in small towns for my collection and some for resale to support my hobby . Some years I have been know to overload the trailer and truck so I decided to store some pumps in a garage that I purchased in a rural town in North Central Kansas. You would think that the pumps would have been safe in an area such as this but guess what? Someone got in and stole two pumps along with a bicycle and various hand tools this past year. I was shocked to find two nice clean original pumps stolen. I am including a picture of a Tokheim 39 the one on the left next to the visible it had Phillips 66 ad glass as you can see in the photo. The other I do not have a picture of but I must say it was one of the cleanest nicest Tokheim 300s I have ever owned. It was red with original glass in the doors. If anyone has any info on these two pumps please let me know. They were stollen between December 2014 and July of 2015 . I know it is a long shot but I felt the need to post this. BTW the other pumps you see in the photo I fortunately had removed the year before otherwise they would have taken them also.
Thanks , Rob

Sorry to hear of this. I lost a couple 6' round signs earlier this year so I feel your pain. I'll keep my eyes open around here for your pumps!

I am located in South Central Nebr, so sounds as if right in my "backyard". Will keep an eye out for them.

Thanks guys! The Tok 39 Philips pump has enough unique decals on it and the color of the doors etc it would be easy to spot in a lineup. The Tok 300 being all red would be tougher but maybe someone seeing them together after reading this would recognize them. I know this is a long shot but I felt that posting this was the right thing to do. If not anything else it goes to show you that thief's do exist even in the smaller rural towns. It seems like posts of this nature are coming up way to often so my advice to all of you is be careful get some dogs , security cams, extra locks etc. Be prepared for the worst. It is a shame we have to even think about this.
Thanks for keeping an eye out for my pumps, Rob

Thanks guys it is great to have support from a great community of collectors. Please do make a mental note of the looks of that short 39, maybe someday it will surface. Because it has patina most likely it will not be repainted if the thief sold to a collector.
