Help me out, I always thought these just to be total fantasy pieces. But then I see this one with this "complements of your Texaco dealer" on the back. Where these give aways? Or are they fantasy?

Like I said, I always was under the impression that these were just fantasy junk. But this picture is what made me ask. So this stamp must be a part of the fantasy charade as well?
