Hey guys can you help me real fast. I just bought this texaco ethyl gas globe on eBay. I wanted to know if the lenses are real or reproductions? The seller says the body is not original but he says the lenses appear to be. I need to cancel it before he ships it if they are reproductions.

The time to ask is before buying! Here is my real one--you compare. I'd have to see the back side of the lens?

I normally would but it was a buy it now. What other option did I have? I'm not an expert on this stuff.

I know the answer now,
look how Kevin's O in texaco, it's egg shaped
the green in the T on the one in question is way off
texaco is too bold on the one of question..
IMO- you don't want the one in question ... cool
