Last one in nice condition sold for 3500 . Wayne Turpel auction . 2 years ago . It wasn't mint .

I bought this RI gallon tin at auction last Oct. 2014 ( D. Evoy Auction ) for $1500 and sold it in January for $2000 cdn. $

there's a big difference between Wes's example & "MINT"
just as there is in the grading of coins, you get too
the xfine vs. the mint proof- there's a big jump in value
if you have one I'd be a player but its got to be dead mint like the orig. question of this subject ... cool

They are an early litho type and never seem to be mint . I have seen some really nice ones . If a really nice one showed up right now it would be extremely strong IMO. The one Wayne had was prob the best one I have seen to date . But I am sure some guys on here have seen a lot of good ones . You just never know when and in what condition they will show up

This is a good example of how condition, rarity and desirability affects the value of a collectible item.
Not many grade 5.5 will bring that kind of money.

Agreed. In that condition 4 yrs ago that's a 75.00 can. Things have changed a lot. But it makes you wonder if the bubble will burst.
