JUST FOUND THIS--IN PROCESS OF TAKING IT APART AND DOWN TO RELOCATE TO OUR HOME-- WE ARE VERY PROUND TO BE PRESERVING A PIECE OF HISTORY--IF YOU HAVE ANY HISTORY ON THESE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT IT

I saw one at a local scrap yard and tried to talk them into selling it . After trying to explain that it was collectable and worth saving all they wanted to do was cut it up so they did , made me sick glad to see you saving history.

Wow! That is a cool little piece of architecture. I love that. Good luck with it and keep us posted with pictures on the process of rebuilding it.

was the station at that location or has this been moved before? looks to be about 8 X 12, keep us up to date with photo's as project moves along - good find ...

I think it is Sinclair. My buddy has one like that and that is what he told me. Good on you for saving it.

I think it is Sinclair. My buddy has one like that and that is what he told me. Good on you for saving it. There was a Sinclair like that near my folks' house when I was a kid. I think it had been boarded up since the 50s. It was a local navigational landmark. The pumps had been long gone, and the signs gradually disappeared over the years. On a visit about 20 years ago, I saw it was gone and a house had been built on the lot. That was a sad day. Thanks for rescuing this one!
