OK here is my 2 cents if you want people to go you better put the day down when it is, I was asked three times at Turlock Swap meet when it was, how do you expect people to go when they do not know, they even said they looked on this site and no dates, oh and yea being a seller would be nice to be able to tell people when they can purchase all my fine JUNK!!!!!

If you haven't witnessed Turlock Bob pulling into a swap meet, it is an event not to be missed. You know he has the good stuff, you're first in line & damn if he doesn't pull some killer sign (or 3) out at the same time & you think you have all the bases covered & next thing you know everything is sold.....what happened!!!

OK you Big Valley West Coast guys, Here's some news. The PCA-West is helping put togather a new bash in Merced, well out side of Merced. At the AG Museum on Hwy 140 east of the 99 hwy about 1 1/2 miles. Charley Parish has Toys, Cars, Tractors, Engines, old Motor-cycles, and lots more, theres also a car show in town that same week end. SEPTEMBER set up on the 8th and the bash is the 9th, I will email you more as we put it togather. no peeing on the fence. have fun.

It's days now until the largest gas bash west of Portland Oregon will take place.

Turlock Bob all marble signs must be run through me before entering the bash. I check them to see if they are good enough for the marble heads. Plus i pay more. See ya there. Ted

Hey PCA-West members, Fred's in two days, Teds pulling out this AM for the coast, I picked up globe bodies from the Bowman yesterday at Teds place, he has a smaller trialer he's pulling full of beer and food. Stover has the 7 acres all mowed nice, he brought down the Veltex Racer lenses for me. It will be a good time.
Hug a Marble head.

Had a great time at Fred's, Fred looks good. Stover had the place all mowed and tables in waiting. The Marble-Heads were right on Q. Looking for John Justice. Koz showed and took lots of decal orders I sold lots of Globe sets. It was a good week end.

I'm just back from Fred's as well. GREAT time but where were all the dealers? I'm hoping it's the gas prices becuase I'd hate to see this show go away...it's by far my favorite. There has never seemed like a rushed time, other then Dennis Griffin who is everywhere at all times and finding the good stuff. People sit down in your space and visit. Not much, if any, really good stuff at this show but people were buying and trading. I sold all but four of my signs and have virtually nothing left to sell and, as we all know, where do you find more to sell or even to buy for yourself. I need to mention what a great job Duane Buck is doing with the globes he's marketing. These are just beautiful and I, not being a globe kind of guy, bought three. Anyway, please keep supporting this show, it's a classic.
Ray
PLEASE find me some great rare signs for my collection. I'm dying out here.

Back myself now. Vendors were down a bit and buyers were down but had a great time. Ray sold all his stuff and I did good and need some more stuff to sell also. I will post some pictures as I get a chance on Showcase but I saw some rare stuff it just went quick or had pre-arragned sales. A last picture here of Tom Stover and the infamous LODI Corner not Marble head corner.Ted

I was just looking for a place to set my beer! Had a great time as always. I found some great stuff (Signal, Shell, Gilmore, Tokheim 850, etc.) Didn't lose any pants this year either. Thanks to Fred & Joyce for opening up their place to "the circus". We'll be ready on Friday the 13th in October.
