I also have a pair of 13 1/2" "banded globe body" bands in excellent condition, if needed.

$100 for the pair.
I will not sell the bands until I sell the lenses, in case the lens buyer needs them.

"olddutchgas" helped clear up some info on lenses like this. It is posted under "General Petroliana Discussion"
Thank you.

"I have had several Lunsford globes over the years. They are banded body lenses. If you measure across the back of them they are 13 5/8" in diameter so they will not fit on a capco body and with the size and no notches they obviously will not fit on a regular glass body.

They will however fit on a 13 1/2" gill body. Most Gill bodies are 13 1/4" but Texaco, American, Amoco, and few others used 13 1/2" bodies and banded lenses fit nicely on them.

They would also fit on a new 13 1/2" metal body but the snap rings may not fit the way they should. You may have to use silicone to hold them in."
