I would love to add the video of it spinning, but not sure how to do it, I have a 30 second one. Gasman.......I had to look up what a "bard" was! Lol. Glad it is a flattering term and I thank you for using it in this instance. These relics inspire my thoughts and I just was thrilled to write about it!

Here ya go Kevin!

Doug, this clocks motor was dated 1940,and I have to say it was (and still is)one of the cleanest, most original clocks I have had the pleasure to work on. [video:youtube]http://youtu.be/20RgozMYL-A[/video]

Ok.....digging through the pics from my post of a few months ago and thought I would repost the picture which shows where this century tire spinner once marked the passage of time. The clock sitting there now just may be the clock that replaced it on the wall in 1978, but I am not sure. The owner pointed that this is where the "spinner" was when he started in 1976 and where it was when taken down in 1978 and placed in a box.

You can say that again, Randy!

When I purchase anything, I am always interested to know about the history.

Killer clock + treasure!
