Correct. When the Jersey Company encroached on Standard of Indiana's marketing territory, Standard of Indiana sued because Esso was the phonetic spelling for the initials of Standard Oil. The outcome was Esso had to create the Enco name to use in the Standard Ind. marketing territory.
