Why is this sign so "RARE" compared to the rest of Mobil pump-plates?
Fewer Gas Stations carried this brand?

In my opinion, its one of the rarer plates that Mobil ever used, and I have seen a couple sell at $2500 and another at 4K+. From the appearance of this one, it should clean up pretty well and be worth considerably more than the purchase price. Of course, we may never see it again??
