Hello, I am looking for some help. I am trying to find out what the normal size patch is used on a service station attendant hat" 2", 3"? I am still recovering from spinal meningitis which almost killed me back in September. See below as an example, The museum is snowed in so I can not access my stuff there. So any help appreciated,

My gulf hat has a 2" patch. I think they most likely where 2-3" round patches. Then versed with other shapes. Like the mobile shield, Ashland and texaco trapezoid looking thing, tydol/veedol had a square, and so on.

Here's a couple of patches I have. The top one is 3" round, the bottom one is 3 1/4" wing tip to wing tip.
