Well, I said I would try and take some more pictures today. I took about fifteen pictures and I was sitting here in the
motel room trying to copy the photos to a folder and guess what?? I DELETED THEM from my memory card!!(I'm still pretty inexperienced at this}.Not a pro like Ron Bettin.(Ron,I ate at Sagebrush tonight by myself.} I hope that someone else took some pictures.
Show got off to a slow start this morning. Weather was nice but the wind picked up. Some more vendors showed up today, but turnout was pretty weak. There weren't many pumps. Not many globes. Porcelain signs were virtually non-exsistent(beyond the usual Texaco,Atlantic,Gulf, etc}.A pretty rare Aetna one quart can surfaced. I bought two cans from the Phoenix Oil Co.,Augusta GA which I had not seen before. There were four Gulf one quart aircraft oil cans(older version} that were
bought pretty quickly.
I picked up a NOS set of 15" Pure Oil Co. lenses for a very reasonable $300.00.
Dan Lappin had a NOS Dixie Premium capco body globe. Asking price was $500.00.Went by later and it was gone.
Pictures I posted earlier of restored pumps were Mark Sconyers. He sold all pumps and coke boxes and refrigerator to one man.
Lonnie Hop picked up a couple of capco body Texaco globes from Mark.
I don't think that there was anything that showed up that had people talking. As said before, the April Dixie Gas is not that well attended, whereas the September show has great turnout.
I will go back tomorrow and take a few pictures of some of things that are still there. Hopefully I won't delete those.Pat.

Pat,
Thanks for the show report. I'm hoping to make it to Dixie Gas this fall.
Eating at the Sagebrush after a day at the show is the perfect way to end the day.
Bob
