I am looking for one of these stainless steel access doors. These originally fit into the bottom of the face bezel on several different models of Gulf pumps. Let me know if you have one with or without the Gulf emblem. Help me complete this cool little Gulf pump! Thanks and Merry Christmas everyone! PM or text 704-245-5170.

Really need to let us know what company made the pump you need the doors for. While they may look like they are interchangeable, many times they are not.

Bennett 86 or a SSE model 85, the pump is actually an SSE 85, the door off my 86 is identical.

As far as I know the access door only fits the Erie 129 pump.

I just looked through my gas pump literature, and I have no mention of the SSEC 86. Are the 85 & the 86 identical pumps except for the ID tag or are they different? I know that during 1932 and 1936 SSEC moved the Bennett division from Michigan to Pennsylvania. During this time all pumps/air meters, etc. that were originally made under the Bennett name were now marked Service Station Equipment Company. Sometimes at the very beginning and at the very end of the time they were in Pennsylvania, a pump that was originally a Bennett was now identified as a SSEC, the same for pumps first introduced under the SSEC name was now Bennett pumps. Is this one where both were identically, just identified as to where the company was at that time?
The Serial Number on your pump will help to identify when the pump was made.

Jack, I plan on picking the pump up from Blair today or tomorrow? I know he cleaned the tag up good enough to read all the numbers. I will have to drag my Bennett out and finish cleaning the tag to get the numbers. They are almost identical but not 100%. I already noticed that the tops are different and the nozzle rests are different. A side by side when I get it here will tell all.
Send me an email and I will send you all the info. and pictures you want.
Thanks, Michael
