Jarvis called today. No, that's not news.
He told me he wasn't afflicted with the Jarvis Jinx anymore! That's huge!!!
I hope he's right. The entire globe collecting hobby was in danger with the Jarvis Jinx being passed around.

Wanted: Gas pump globes:Sinclair & affiliates, IL companies. Ripple bodies. Anything Sinclair, Stoll, Pierce, 4 Bros.

I have been buying little gas pump shakers and so far so good... all come in good shape. Last globe I got came from Columbus Ohio gas and is fine. Anyone have any globes get broken lately? Me and Bob was wondering who has the jinx? Were has Gary Drye been lately? Maybe he is cleaning up glass?

Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

I hope Gary doesn't have the Jinx. His globes are too nice.

I guess it's come to Texas.

I had a pair of 15" original blank lenses in my attic. Freak July hail storm totalled my roof. Vibration from the new roof being installed caused them to fall from the shelf they were on. They fell onto two glass bodies sitting on the floor below them but luckly, the bodies didn't break, just the lenses.

Thanks Jarvis. LOL
