Here is another rookie question (first visible I have restored). What color(s) are considered correct for internal parts? (conduit, pipes, fingers, pump, etc.)

Thanks,
Clayton

I usually paint everything inside with flat black. I may not be correct but the flat finish wears very well and hides any imperfections that a gloss paint would highlight. Inside the glass cylinder, I leave the color choice to my client. In most cases, the jar base is the same color as the pump but the pipes are silver, gold, hammertone bronze, etc? I paint all the pipes a dull silver(like pewter) and the cast iron pieces black(flat or satin). Dave
