I started this project in March of last year. I used a 40ft storage container. I was going to build another garage for more storage but decided to go this route and spend the extra cash on making it a gas stations country store. I forgot to mention my wife wanted a country store so we combined our ideas. Weve had a great time building this together.she did the paint stain and had some say in the decoration. I'm having trouble posting the picture its up on my new member post. This damn smart phone won't let me.try again tomorrow

Nice use of a container. They are dime a dozen (probably more than a dime!) but very utilitarian. Looks great!

Great idea! Just curious, do any 'front porch' doors actually open into the container?

I'd love to see more pictures too. Love the look of it.

Have you tried out the smart phone resize app? Easier way to upload pics from your phone to Oldgas.com.

well as of now only the end doors are functional. The patio is Galvanized Sheet metal.Could cut the doors in but I chose not to. Total Cost of container lumber doors and windows about 4k.
sitting on my Back porch enjoying the view Priceless!!!!

A heck of a lot better than sitting on your back porch looking at a 40' container!
