I am sure most of you read the story about the gentleman that tracked me down on this forum to try and get his grandfathers gas pump back. We were able to make a pump trade and everyone is happy. He just ran across this picture of his grandmother working at a Union 76 station in Seattle. She is the one filling the radiator. His grandfather was building B17's at Boeing and his grandmother was going to college and working at the gas station in her spare time. His family had ties to Union 76 long before his grandfather installed the Tokheim 39 pump next to his garage in the 60s!!

Did he ever get a chance to talk to his grandmother about what it was like then?

Thank him for letting us see this great photo!

Grandma is still alive and my friend has been picking her brain about days gone by. Randy-- his grandma is holding the water hose. Not sure on plates or decals on the pump.
