The company I worked for closed doors 6 months ago, and at 55 years old I'm not prepared to sit across from a 20 year old and have him ask me "why should I hire you?" So I started buying anything I thought was cool at a good price and started "Tom's Garage" . I've been having a blast meeting new people everyday, and the garage always looks cool. I never could really afford to be a collector, but I now have the benefits of enjoying this stuff even for a little while. I picked up this little Rapidayton, gutted and washed it, and sold it to a guy who is fixing it up nicely. Thought I'd share a few pics.

Sounds like your enjoying your unexpected retirement Tom! Doing something you enjoy is the best:

Good Luck!
