Hi everyone. I have never been to the Iowa show before. If a guy is only going to go to one show in a year, is this the one to attend?

Also, is it best to show up on Friday or Saturday, or both?

Are there other things such as pop machines or just gas and oil?

Thanks!

This show has slipped the past few years but still pretty good. If you go on Saturday everyone will be packing and going home or already gone. Thursday is the best day if you can swing it. Friday morning isn't bad but after 12:00 people will start leaving.

Their will be all sorts of vending machines including pop and candy. Hope this helps.

Hi Credon,
Here is a link to pictures I took at the 2003 Iowa Gas. Browse through the 5 pages and click on the images you'd like to see enlarged. Make up your own mind if the show is worth attending if you see stuff you'd be interested in.

Iowa Gas 2003

You don't say where you are located. Definitely attend the show or shows closest to you and then pick out an event that is farther away if it is worth going. Click on the "Main Menu" link at the bottom of this page and then click on "Events" to see a list of swap meets and auctions.

Credon,
There's no substitute for going to the shows. Everyone has their favorite show, but if you can only make one show a year Iowa Gas wouldn't be a bad choice.

Sounds like I should start driving Wednesday to catch the good stuff. Thank you very much everyone and I will make sure and bring the cash!
