What type of Conoco sign and light would have been used on this pole?

Thanks
Steve

This appears to be the pole used by Conoco in the 1930s to display the green/white outlined red triangle sign. It may or may not have had spotlights (shining back on the sign) mounted on conduit supported by the fitting in the middle of the mast arm.

I bought the pole at an estate sale yesterday. The lady running the estate sale said someone else bought the twin to this pole for $10 dollars and then told her how cheap it was, so I had to pay more for the second pole.

I paid too much for it so I better just keep it and look for a sign, but thanks for the offer.

Hey Steve, most likely a 42 or 48" double porcelain sign in a ring would have hung from it. The arm appears too long to have help a 30". I have an extra Conoco I might part with but it is a 30".

Can anybody tell me how long the pole was from the base to the top of one of these poles? Thanks
