I scored two complete 36B pumps with original tops yesterday in the wilds of Ventura County close to highway 126 on the way to Ventura. I pulled over to check my directions and stopped in front of what appeared to be some rusty sheet metal doors. A closer inspection revealed the two 36Bs. I'm almost embarrassed to say that I got them for nothing, but I did--well, almost nothing. The guy who owned them let me have them for a pair of jumper cables. He was throwing the stuff away. If Dick Bennett or gaspumprob find out about this, they will put a bounty on my butt... This is the biggest swindle since the indians gave away Manhattan for some beads. =:> ) Dave Folck

Sounds like you both got what you needed so don't loose any sleep over it.
Heck at that price you could sell one off to pay for the others' resto. Part it out and make more.Or sit on one for ten years and watch it grow in value.
I once found a Wayne visible and a 241 Bowser
still hooked up on a farm. The lady had a male silver donkey, she wanted a female to breed with the male , she said all we had to do is FIND the female silver and she would sell us the pumps...we never found the donkey and never got the pumps.
