Oil City Rotary is continuing to breathe NEW life into the already famous Historic Oil District Swap Meet! Oil City Rotary s goal is to involve the surrounding communities in order to enrich their knowledge of oil history and get them involved in the collection of Petroliana and hopefully uncover some really NEAT collectables! The Oil and Gas Extravaganza will take place in the heart of the 'birthplace of the world's oil industry' on July 6-8, 2006. Included this year will be a large Swap Meet on July 7&8th! On the evening of the 7th there will be a FABULOUS buffet dinner in the Rivermont Room of the Arlington Hotel overlooking the beautiful river with a community involved auction following the dinner! Then on July 8th there will be the continuation of the Swap Meet to close out the weekend!
