A gentleman contacted me asking if we could restore this pump. Too bad he did not find it sooner. A real shame.
It would just take too long to track down the parts....

Every once in a while we find something that is in the condition as shown above. While we can look for the parts that it would take to return it to its original condition, there is probably 10 or 15 others who are looking for certain parts that are on this pump.

Sometimes we just have to say to ourselves we have found a parts pump.

If everyone is sitting on a pump such as this one, waiting for someone else to sell us the parts to restore it, none of us will ever be able to restore anything. Just read the "wanted" section of this site and you will see how many people are looking for parts to complete their restoration.

Of course, do what you want and I hope you find someone who is also sitting a similar pump waiting for parts, one of you will have to decide who is going to help the other one.

(After reading what I wrote above, I took a good look at what you have, my opinion is that you could probably be able to sell what parts you have for more than you would get after finding what you need, restoring it, looking for a buyer, etc.)

Another part of the fun is fabricating the parts you need, go for it John and buy it.

Thanks, Phil
