Hi, Lynn and myself have been talking for a while now and were wondering if a gas bash up here in the Seattle area would be worth while and be attended by many? We had thought about a one day show on a Saturday either Labor day weekend or September 18. What do you guys think? Lets hear some input on this and who all would be interested in coming? We have the space and are located about 12 miles from Sea-Tac airport there are plenty of Motels and transportation is not a problem for the guys who would like to fly in.

I'd be into that Don if it was Sept 18th, as there is a big fair here Labor Day weekend. I'm sure I could drag DoDo down with me, and then the 2 Canucks could show you why Canadians need 2 garbage bags when we go camping ???????

Hey Don... Great idea Count me and probably Steve Snow in too. There were a bunch of guys from the Greater Seattle area at Scappoose, Oregon last year, that would probably come also. ------------------ Frank

Don, Hope you're able to get this going. If there's anything I can do to help, like a mailing list, let me know. I'll also try and make it, regardless of the date.

Hey what about July 18th since the Oregon one is out. Seattle is great in July and I'm off. What do you think. Nothing else going on. The Campbell show is in Oct. ??? My two cents. Ted

Hey Don, sounds good. I'll volunteer for grilling duty. Should be able to get plenty of good stuff off of the highways between now and then.

Hi Frank, thanks for the kind words as we are also very excited about this event. We are starting to make the flyers now to hand out at all of the upcoming events we will be at this spring and summer. We will also get the date and time posted here on old gas in the events section in the next week or so. We are planning on Saturday September 18 with set up and a Bar B Q on Friday night. For now we are planning on having the event at our shop in downtown Seattle near Safeco field. The Seattle Mariners are playing Friday night at 7:00 and Saturday at 1:05 against the Oakland A's if any one would like to attend the game we will supply the free parking. Will keep everyone updated.

Yes it is a go for Sept. 18th and the flyers are done as of today. Handed out a lot of there at Monroe swap meet today. If any one wants a flyer let me know and I will email it to you. Come by and see us at the swap meet in area 53 spaces 25 and 26 and I will make sure you get one. Will also be posting here on old gas this week in the events section. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. We will also be having a old car club bringing there hot rods cars so feel free to bring one as we will have plenty of parking for them also.
