This can is the rare red Beacon California can. Most that I have seen are the yellow ones like the one that sold here the other day. This has been in my collection for many years. I am offering this for sale for $1200.00 . I had Dick Bennett relid the bottom of this can several years ago. The top is original as you can see in the photo. Dick at the time told me he had not ever seen a red one, only the yellow ones. This is your chance to own a piece of California history. If this does not sell it will go back into my collection for a while.

Thanks for looking, Rob

Fortunately I gave Dick permission to scan this can and he made me one. I do not think he made more than three copies. So at least now I have the fake one to fill the empty hole in my can cabinet! Gosh the fake one came out nice!
