It looks like the mark to the right of his knee is not in the one picture? Are you saying that is a chip that is no longer there? Or maybe it was a spot of something they cleaned off?

I have not looked at the Auction. So, my question may not be relevant? Is the sign in question, a dbl. sided sign? And if so, is the chip on one side and not on the other?

Double sided sign, both sides are shown with the black background, it appears to have had minor restoration.
