This is part of a collection that was on display (none really for sale I don't believe) at a local car show that goes on in Utica Mi. every year. And now they've added a gas & oil show to go along with it. Only 5 miles from home. Can't wait until next year! Enjoy! And there was so much more to this collection inside the building.

Thanks for the pictures Steve. Wow, some really nice pumps in his collection. Were there many dealers with gas and oil collectables for sale? Or was it mostly car parts?

There was I would say about 15 vendors selling oil & gas. Some of them Steve (Speedracer) knew. It was just the first year and it rained cats and dogs all morning. Not the best for judging success of the show. The car show itself was down about 40% according to people who have been to it before. Hopefully the gas and oil portion will get better each year. I was up there with Steve (Speedracer) and John (Oilcanman87) for a while. We had a good little time of it. Here's a posting that Steve had put up a week or so ago. There is a link that gives a good perspective on the size potential of things in the future. http://www.oldgas.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=662985

Steve, did they drag all those pumps out just for the show? Man, if so that is very ambitious to say the least.

Just about all of the pumps he had outside were pulled out from his shop for the show. Rick has a ton of pumps and is a great guy. This is why I highly recommend people attend, it is truly a top-notch collection. Since Steve C. covered the outside I will share a few pics of Rick's collection from his shop (when the show is not going on)...

Here are a few of the outside vendor/swap meet, however I did not take a picture of all the vendors. Mike S. was there also with his big trailer full of porcelain signs. It was a great show and since it was the first year and the weather was lees than cooperative, this show should grow every year.
