I have finished the art on the 1912 Mobil Filling station, there is 8 on this list already and I'm offering 3 sets to old gasers. 8 colors so it's kinda pricey.

Thanks Paul, Jerry, I try to keep the cost down for you guys even with the high price of fuel going for shipping supplys. As you two know the guys on the lists are the ones that determine which images are produced, plus the Globe bodies from Slama are the best I've ever seen.
Update: the Crescent are finished and ready to ship to me for distribution, the Rare Texaco and the Minute Man will be at Fred's. Next, the 9 color Mobil filling station 1912. have fun.

Re: 1912 MOBIL globe.
Why would a 1912 station feature a 1920's pump, with a 1933-35 globe & a late 20's car ???

I was thinking the same thing, but I'm not allowed to ask those kind of questions anymore.... But my favorite is the "Rare Texaco" logo, with the "Motor Fuel" being exactly the same as on the Bearcat decal that I found....

Dick...(If the name fits...use it!)
Know where I can get some buttons?
And that goes for some of my Colorado "friends" too. I think these are fantasy globes much like the recent Bearcat globe was. Can you understand that?
If you want to keep acting like 3rd graders start posting on 3rd-grade-gas.com. I'm sure they'll love it! I don't! What is up with you guys continuing to bash Dwaine? And I don't think some of you button wearing posers have ever met him! And why do the moderators continue to let it go? I don't know him very well in spite of what some of you may think but I am sick of some of you bashing him every time he posts on here and what about the juvenile stuff I heard happened to him at Iowa Gas. I'm just glad I never saw it first hand! He is the one who got me to post here in the first place and I have mostly enjoyed the time I have been a member but some of you have to get a grip! I look forward to when I can contribute to this site, be it just a simple post or the COTM that I am supposed to do in November. I've learned a lot from many of you but in the last few months I've realized that Dick is far worse in many of his criticisms than ANYONE else on this site yet I don't know that I have ever heard of him being put on probation or suspended from this site. And it looks like now he has some puppets! If you want to point out a discrepancy...fine! But I think you target certain people for your criticism and that is fine with me! Bring it! Add me to your wanted list Dick! I'm just sorry I ever let you and Thunder in my house! It won't happen again!

Ok..Before this gets any further into undesireable territory I am going to lock it . Before I do..let me say this, I think most shop talk members get along and most shop talk members know some dont. Lets all try to get along for the good of the community as a whole. its true some of the time frame of the images used do not coincide accurately with history...but as Chris pointed out..They are Fantasy Globes for pump builders who want something a little bit different. Fantasy means they were NEVER made originaly and are only decorative not accurate.

I understand because of Past history things can heat up fast so I am locking this topic up. I am not deleting it so users can have acsess to the globes pictures Dwaine has posted.

Thanks for your cooporation in keeping Shop Talk pleasant for every member to use and frequent.
