Just curious if anyone could shed some light on this sign? It is SSP and is 42". Didn't know if the blue is just faded away or is something else going on here. If it is real, possible value? If it's fake, it obviously worthless. Thanks

Unfinished by the manufacturer? What reason would they not finish and any idea of how many would have ended up in the public's hand? Any value to it? Thanks

There could have been an issue in processing. There are alot of a certain Texaco sign which are missing various colors.

When porcelain is applied it is done in stages because each color melts at a specific temperature. If something happens to the oven you might have signs which cool down and become unusable since normally the sign would be kept at a high temperature and not allowed to cool.
