Not sure if this is in the correct spot so if not Mods please move.
Lately I have been wondering about toy gas stations. I did a search but really didn't find much on collections. I remember some time ago that they were sought after and I have to assume that there are some really great collections out there. But are they still collected? I know they require a pretty good space to display and after dusting mine require committed maintenance to preserve the piece.
All this started when I was dusting in our display room and was rather surprised that I had quite a few being I have more than two and less then 20.
Here are some of the stations in my collection.

Thanks Steve, I am just curious if there are any people still collecting this stuff. I use to have a lot of them and through the years let most of them go, but these are my favorites.

Nucky, those are very cool. It's neat to see the different architecture and branding all though similar to our state side stuff. Thanks for sharing. Les

Those are really cool. I normally gloss over most things these days but found myself taking my time checking these out. I really like the second one

I love the toy gas stations. Reminds me of the simple days of childhood way back when. Great pics!

Thanks Jim, me too, but I still would like to know if people are still collecting/ protecting this part of gas history?

Very cool! I saw one at a local auction recently. Pretty sure the bidders on that item were all toy collectors.

Thanks Jim, me too, but I still would like to know if people are still collecting/ protecting this part of gas history? I came across several toy gas stations here in flea market or car swap meet, I don't buy them myself as they usually are really big and took a lot of place to display it correctly but I know some person who only collect those

Great topic, All of the above stations are examples of a era that reminds me of the past were you really got full service. In my younger days, when we all loaded up in the car to go on a trip, I always looked forward to stopping at the gas station to fill up with gas and see all the neat things there, especially the promotion items and give a ways. I have a few stations, not as nice as these, that I will get out and post pictures of sometime over the weekend.
