I have a American 347-V pump I bought disassembled years ago. I want to put it together, but I seem to be missing something. Seems as though there should be some sort plate under the dome to support the top of # rods. Does anyone have a picture or can tell what should be there?

Hope this makes sense, thanks in advance.

Youre not missing anything. That is one of the simpilest pumps out there, but also one of the best looking IMO.

Thanks for the info, glad to know I'm not missing anything. Still a little puzzled about what keeps the rods vertical.

The glass is the only thing that holds the top and the cylinder rods in place.
