Hello to everyone at old gas. Im new to this hobbie and have learned a little bit so far. I bought a mobilgas special pump plate. It doesnt have a date nor does it say licesen by mobil( which i have read and told these are repos). How can i find out if i have an orginal?

Ken, the first thing you need to do is; "Stop" buying items until you get some knowledge!
Second of all; learn to use the "Oldgas.com search powered by Google" that is towards the bottom of this page and every page.
If you type in "Mobil fakes and repops" in the search box. You will get over 200 past discussions from the Members about fakes and repops. (there is a difference between fakes and repops)
Third: If you do need to buy; Ask the Membership a question/(s)BEFORE buying an item(s)
Every new Hobbyist whether a Collector or not, has made their own fair share of mistakes before they got some real "concrete" knowledge...
And the old adage is true: "a little bit of knowledge is dangerous". Always try to make sure that an item is "real" before purchasing... As experience has proven over and over; as one gains a little bit of knowledge and becomes more sure of that knowledge. Any mistakes become more and more expensive....
