Hi All,
I have this 12 x 12 inch double sided shell sign. It has two holes on the bottom of the sign where the bolts went to display it. It has some different markings on the bottom and top that seem to be on very few signs that I have seen.
I have not been able to find this sign in this size. I found a larger sign online with the same markings on the bottom and top but not small like this one.
Does anyone have any information on this sign? What it was used for? What era it was made? What it might be worth today?
My guess is it was a topper sign for a gas pump before they used globes. I am guessing it is from the teens or twenties. These are just guesses! Any information would help.
