Well my guy that put the rubber in has retired and gone away. Does anyone have any ideas on this installation ? Have heard of all sorts of measures, twine, glue. Anybody have an exact way to do this so that I do not screw something up?
Thanks

I use a small pick awl and dawn detergent and slide it right in. I put rubber in door then slide glass in.

Thanks, Phil

Warming the rubber some and twine is usually the best trick, sometimes a little lube helps too. I've had it not work too and had to grind the glass down to make it fit a few times (used a die grinder real carefully!)

I use the twine and dish soap method. Sometimes it takes a few tries, but with a little patience, it works.

Here's a video, if you haven't seen it:

Thank you, that was helpful. Think I was installing the rubber with the big side in that may have been a problem also. Wish my rubber would stay on the glass also.
