Dad, myself and and possibly my son will be there Wed.-Friday, 21st consecutive.

Looks like we will be moving into our new home that week but Dad and I are going to IG regardless.....wife should be in a prime mood upon returning.

Question for anyone: I've never been to Iowa Gas, but I've been toying with the idea of going out this year. I've looked at the schedule, but what I'd like to know is, what really goes on? Is the main swap-meet day Thursday or Friday? I know in Columbus it's supposed to be Friday-Saturday but the big day is Friday, Saturday a lot of vendors have already left. Would a man be better off to plan on Thursday as the big day, or would it be jjust as good to go Friday and stay for the Saturday auction? I know being there first is the best way to pick over the creme of the crop, I'm wondering mainly what is the single best day to see the most.

You need to be there for Thursday. By Friday noon more than half of the vendors will be gone.
