I am slowly restoring my Wayne 805 and I ran into a problem on one of the clocks, where someone had obviously lost or ruined one of the adjuster legs for the clock mechanism, and had replaced it with a bolt and some washers.
Since this is to be a top shelf restoration, I took one of the original adjusters into my machinist and had him make me one. It turned out so well that I thought I had better post it on Old Gas, and see if anyone else is in the need for any of these slick little units.
Its a 2 piece affair, where the brass part is threaded on the inside to accept the threads of the adjuster pipe that sets the level of the clock mechanism.
The 800 series clocks use 4 of these little units, to raise/lower/level the clock mechanism, to be centered in position.
If anyone needs any, I can put in a request to have him make a few more. I don't remember his price, but it was very reasonable?
In the pictures, the new setup is on the right!
