I have a restored Martin & schwartz Model 80 and I need to replace all of the light bulbs. Will you all give me some guidance as to how to take it apart to get to the light bulbs?

If you can't get to them by opening the doors (& maybe removing the faceplates), then just remove the two screws at either side of the top. It'll lift right off and you can access the bulbs then.

I have never restored a gas pump that when you opened the door and removed the face plate you exposed the bulbs.

Pretty sure you will need to remove faces, depending on Which 80 you have? A short 80 for sure. Chris

The bulbs for an MS80 ad glass top or the Script top can only be accessed by removing the top as described above. All other versions are accessed simply by opening the doors and reaching above the faces. If you have large hands then remove the faces. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

I tried removing the two screws on either side of the top and it didn't move. I'll try again and report back.
With regard to the "Doors" opening, it looks like to me that they are bolted shut. Am I missing something?

didn't you have to open the doors to take the screws out of the top? Are you sure the pump is a Wayne 80??

There are fpur screws holding the top on if I remember correctly, under each door there are two sets. Sometimes the side panels put a lot of pressure holding the top on. Psul
