Dick's correct that this is supposed to be the original, grand daddy and first gas bash in the state, city, nation and the world. Probably about 60 dealers and, like most of these have become, lot's of sales and trades between dealers. Always can find something here and this year we have a Matthews auction on Friday night. I'll be there with lot's of great signs ray

Just found out my wife got me plane tickets to go out to see her brother who lives a few miles away in Corona, Calf. with her frequent flyer miles So this will be my first time out to this Bash! Looking forward to it.. Is Friday just for set for dealers? I wouldn't be able to get any good stuff on the plane to sell? But my brother in-law can ship it all home for me! Ric
Wanted: Conoco, Marland, Eason, Cliff Brice, Speedway and Oval E stuff!

Ric, FRIDAY is the best day, but they do charge an early entrance fee [I would pay even if I didn't set up] good for BOTH days. Some dealers don't set up on Friday because of WORK, so best to go both days. I might have room for larger items on way to IG. db

Trying to move this topic back up top. Great show and I always sell out of the signs I brign because I GIVE THEM AWAY. Dealer set up is 10am, or earlier, depending on what mood Mrs. Roy is in. If she's smiling and Roy has been nice to her, she will be smiling and might let us in early. Some selling on the street before the show. Also Matthews Auction at 3pm off the premises

I have a very nice looking 1930's lighted reverse-glass Pennzoil clock in my collection I'm thinking about bringing Saturday to offer for sale. I just posted a photo of it over in the Pennzoil thread of the "Showcase and Stories" section on here. This is not an inexpensive item, but if you appreciate finer quality items, have a look at the photo and send me an e-mail! Thanks.

I will be there as usual. If I don't have any problems with my camera I will shoot a bunch of images and post them when I get home on Saturday evening. I am going to also attend the woody wagon meet at Doheny Beach in the afternoon but I will do my best to get them posted quickly as enjoy seeing every one elses event images. If you have something from The PEP Boys that your selling at Roy's have it out early because I am like a stealth in and out and on to the next event!!!
