Pretty new to the hobby and ran across this today. I am guessing it is a sight glass sign for a 50s era pump?? I have never seen one with the gas price sign. Can you tell if this is authentic? Would it be worth $40? All info is appreciated.
Thanks

Reproduction. Attaches to the top of a visi gauge on a 30's-40's tall electric pump.

You did good, it maybe a reproduction but for what you paid it has the look. Can't confirm if it is authentic but for forty bucks I would have jumped all over it.

Couple things. Too many imperfections in the casting. The fonts used for the numbers and text on the paper insert are modern.
