I was watching "Blackboard Jungle" from 1955 when I spotted this visible and a cool Mobil Batteries sign.
Anyone ever see this sign before? I'm curious what that symbol in the middle is. Picture of a battery?

I believe it's a battery graphic as well, and more than likely a door cling or decal type of advertisement, not an actual sign.

I've been watching "The Untouchables" every once in awhile because they will pull into a gas station during the show and it's great to check out the stuff! They also have a set in a car garage that has 2 visible pumps in there.

Looks like "MOBIL BATTERIES" is the writing to me, so a battery picture would be appropriate. My best guess anyway!
