Has anyone found a way to repair a cylinder with BB holes in it?
The cylinder was shot 3 times just about at the same spot. If I turn the cylinder toward the back, it would be difficult to see them, but I would know that they're in there.
To complicate things even more, the one that needs repaired is an original blue tinted glass

I found a Fry Mae West 117!
Now I need orig. parts!
Base doors, cyl. rods, skin & base bolts,
reg. fingers, conduit pipe, light arms & shades, & more

I have not repaired such an item. However, why would one of the windshield repair kits or just clear epoxy not work? I would place clear packaging tape tightly over the outside of the cylinder and apply the epoxy from the inside. Remove the tape after the epoxy has cured and then gently scrape away any excess on the inside with a razor blade. If you want a really invisible repair, you might lightly dust the inside with a light coat of blue paint that is as close as possible to the tint and then remove any excess paint with acetone, from around the epoxy.
